What do you enjoy about working here?

I enjoy working with skilled and supportive colleagues on complex builds that push my skills. It gives me the ability to contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects that drive progress.

Tell us about your specialism and why you chose it

I started as a civil engineer, gaining technical and hands-on experience on projects. Over time, I realised that I truly enjoy not just engineering, but leading projects, working closely with diverse teams and collaborating with clients. Mott MacDonald gave me the chance to deliver successful outcomes by bringing people together and making a difference on every project.

Why did you choose to join Mott MacDonald?

Mott MacDonald offers the kind of environment where I can grow, take real responsibility and be part of impactful projects. I value the culture, trust, collaboration, commitment to quality and the chance to work with people who care about what they do.

How has your career progressed since joining?

Since joining the company, my career has been on a continuous path of growth and learning. I started as an engineer in the US, where I built a strong technical foundation, gaining the Engineer II qualification and progressing to construction manager. Soon after, I transitioned to the Middle East, taking on the role of assistant project manager and then being promoted to project manager. Each role has given me the opportunity to take on more responsibility, lead diverse teams and contribute to complex projects across different regions. Working globally has shaped the way I lead and deliver, with adaptability, collaboration and a strong focus on results.

What have you learnt while working at Mott MacDonald?

I have learned how to lead with confidence, adapt to different cultures and deliver complex projects through teamwork and continuous growth.

How do you demonstrate technical excellence in your work?

Staying hands-on, asking questions, and making sure every decision is grounded in both experience and precision. I take pride in doing things right, not just getting them done.

How do you contribute to Mott MacDonald making a difference to people and the planet?

I support a variety of project teams who deliver infrastructure projects that improve everyday life: from safer systems to more efficient solutions, pushing for sustainable practices and smart design choices that respect both people and the planet.

Where in the world has your role taken you?

My journey with Mott MacDonald has been incredible, joining the US office in 2021, and transferring to the UAE in 2023.

What are your career highlights and achievements?

Growing from a fresh graduate in the US to leading major projects in the Middle East has been a rewarding journey of constant learning, cross-cultural collaboration and a chance to see the real impact of our work on the ground.

Are you involved in any additional initiatives at Mott MacDonald, aside from your day-to-day role?

Alongside my core role, I organise and lead weekly football games for colleagues. This provides a consistent opportunity to support wellbeing through physical activity, strengthen social connections, and build positive working relationships across teams outside of day‑to‑day work environments.
