Biography
As New South Wales state manager, Mark Carling leads our business across the state, guiding growth while supporting teams to deliver outcomes that benefit our clients and communities.
With a background in mechanical engineering, Mark’s career spans manufacturing, logistics, services, infrastructure engineering, and consulting. He has held senior leadership roles in major global organisations and directed large, multi-disciplinary teams, overseeing operations and commercial performance, and driving transformation programs that improve efficiency and unlock growth.
He has brought his strategic expertise to the delivery of projects and thrives on applying critical thinking to solve complex client challenges.
Alongside his executive roles, Mark has held board positions with the Australasian Railway Association and the Australian Rail Industry Standards Organisation. Mark is a Fellow of the IMechE, and Fellow and EngExec of Engineers Australia.
