Victoria Day
I am passionate about the engineering industry and the role it plays in delivering lasting benefits for communities. I enjoy setting projects up for success by working with clients to facilitate strong commercial and risk management, while bringing together diverse perspectives across technical, delivery and client teams. Often, the greatest opportunities and risks sit in the spaces between organisational silos, and I am driven by identifying those gaps early to create better project outcomes.
Biography
Delivering major infrastructure programmes requires strong coordination between technical, commercial and stakeholder priorities. For Victoria Day, this is where her focus lies; bringing clarity and structure to complex projects as they move from strategy into delivery.
As energy leader and commercial manager in New Zealand, Victoria draws on more than 20 years’ experience as a chartered civil engineer, with a focus on project and commercial management. Her career spans transport, water, energy and advisory, giving her a broad understanding of how large-scale infrastructure systems are planned, funded and delivered.
Victoria has built her expertise working across client, contractor and consultancy environments, within traditional, alliance and D&C environments. After establishing the project, programme and commercial management practice in New Zealand, she continues to support teams and clients in strengthening delivery performance, particularly on multidisciplinary projects where commercial strategy and technical decisions must align.
