Mott MacDonald is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead multiple transportation design and construction projects, as well as strategic pursuits, in a leadership capacity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment and is passionate about delivering excellence in infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead oversight of project finances, budgeting, reporting, and provide technical support for successful delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, staff, and project teams, acting as a liaison across multi-disciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders.
  • Manage client accounts and support new project pursuits, including proposal development and budget management.
  • Champion contract management best practices and foster a positive, inclusive team culture that motivates and empowers staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in construction management of large, complex heavy civil engineering projects (transit, ports, highways, etc.).
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience on major infrastructure projects.
  • Professional Engineering registration in California preferred
  • Certified Construction Manager or Project Management certification preferred.
  • Experience with both alternative and traditional project delivery methods is required.

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.

 

 

The expected salary for this position is $169,000- $207,000
