Your Opportunity 

 

Due to strong growth and an exciting pipeline of projects, Mott MacDonald's Defence and Security team in Adelaide has an exciting opening for a Procurement Advisor to support the delivery of complex projects through effective procurement and contract management. You will be joining a diverse and passionate team with a proven track record delivering major projects across Australia.  This role will contribute across the full procurement lifecycle, working closely with project teams to drive compliant, timely, and commercially sound outcomes.

In this role you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Support the development of procurement strategies and plans aligned to project objectivesManage end-to-end tendering activities, including documentation, clarifications, and evaluation coordination
  • Coordinate tender evaluations, approvals, and procurement documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with contract preparation, execution, and administration, including variations and probity requirements
  • Monitor supplier performance and contractor onboarding, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations
  • Support project delivery through procurement scheduling, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with project teams

 

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Championing best practices and making clear, well-informed project decisions. 
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to shape and deliver project scope.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured manner
  • Foundational understanding of budget and schedule management
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to delivery
