Your Opportunity

 

Due to an increase in workload across major rail projects in Victoria and interstate, we are recruiting for a geotechnical engineer that can work independently, manage packages and work with senior engineers to deliver complex designs on key infrastructure projects. 

The person should be an Australian citizen and be willing to undertake a defence clearance check. 

 

Your role 

 

  • Carry out complex geotechnical / geo-structural modelling with limited input from senior team members.  

  • Assisting in mentoring and training junior team members, including interstate personnel.  

  • Provide design management and project management support across the business group  

  • Have a willingness to assist in bidding for work, either as pursuits or tenders.  

  • Familiar with industry codes and standards including AS5100, VICRoads BTN's and MTM standards

  • Leading design packages including design, calculations, report writing, risk assessments, stakeholder engagement and stakeholder engagement. 

  • Able to carry out complex geotechnical design and modelling with limited supervision from senior team members.  

     

    Desirable

     

    • Registered Professional Engineer
    • RIW competencies for MTM and ARTC
