You will be responsible for the following: 

•    Work on projects delivery and support for proposals relevant to combined cycle projects, simple cycle gas turbines plants, hydrogen, CCUS and in general with energy transition projects
•    Lead the process engineering team to deliver detail design services.
•    Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, Heat & Mass Balance (HMB) and utility consumption calculations. 
•    Perform process simulations (using tools such as HYSYS, Aspen Plus or equivalent) for cycle optimisation and performance improvement
•    Perform equipment sizing and specification (pumps, heat exchangers, tanks, etc.) in coordination with mechanical disciplines. 
•    Lead process safety studies (HAZOP, HAZID, Design review, SIL reviews) and ensure compliance with international standards
•    Work on projects delivering consultancy and Owner Engineering services
•    Support bid proposals, cost estimates, and technical clarifications with clients.
•    Proven track record in FEED and detailed design delivery.
•    Collaborate with other offices of MM Group for proposals preparation and project delivery
•    Short term overseas travel for client meetings if required
•    Delivering projects in accordance with agreed schedules at various stages including feasibility/planning/ preparation of tender stage technical drawings and specifications/production of construction drawings and design compliance monitoring at construction stage for Power Plant application
•    Coordination with client project team and internal team disciplines within Mott MacDonald including civil, instrument and control, mechanical, environmental
•    Enhancing our business development and delivering projects in new technologies including hydrogen, CCUS and thermal transition in general

Candidate Specification : 
•    Bachelores / Masters in Chemical Engineering  or equivalent. 
•    10 years of adequate experience in thermal power plants design and projects implementation preferably covering from proposal stage, to implementation (engineering, procurement, construction) phase, performance test.
•    Strong understanding of Rankine cycle, thermodynamics, and plant efficiency optimisation.
•    Experience in international projects and in international environmental.
•    Good understanding of the basic and detail design of thermal power plants, combined cycles, open cycle gas turbines, CHP, etc
•    Fluent in English, Excellent written, verbal communication, and organization skills. 
•    Experience with ASPEN & HYSYS software. 
•    Experience working in a team environment of engineers/specialists a plus. 
•    Good knowledge of industry codes and standards ASME/ANSI/API/NFPA/IP, 
•    Self-motivated, with the ability to manage changing priorities. 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office.
