The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded the Collins‑Mott MacDonald‑STV joint venture an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide architecture and engineering (A/E) services to renovate and modernize existing facilities for the U.S. Coast Guard. These services will support the planning, assessment, design, and delivery of facilities across all 50 U.S. states, as well as Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
This multiple award task order 10-year contract has a shared ceiling exceeding $1 billion and encompasses a broad range of infrastructure types and services, including design and engineering for waterfront, aviation, and building infrastructure, mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering, site utilities, and airfield-related assets.
These projects will support multiple DHS components and are critical to maintaining safe, secure, and resilient infrastructure systems that enable the agency’s mission.
The joint venture combines deep expertise in architecture, engineering, and program delivery, positioning the team to successfully execute a diverse range of projects across DHS’s national portfolio.
Commenting on the award, Rick Kaiser, Mott MacDonald’s federal and defense market leader, said, “This award highlights our ability to deliver complex infrastructure programs that support critical national missions. It is exciting to be a part of the Collins-Mott MacDonald-STV joint venture – the U.S. Coast Guard’s needs are tremendous, and our team stands ready to deliver.”
“We are proud to be part of the Collins‑Mott MacDonald‑STV team supporting the U.S. Coast Guard’s infrastructure, from waterfront facilities to airfields and buildings, across the United States,” added Sebastian Pastor, federal and defense portfolio manager at Mott MacDonald.
This marks a major milestone for the project, which serves to strengthen and restore the shoreline around some of the US capital's historic and world-famous landscapes.
Rick Kaiser, Mott MacDonald’s federal and defense market leader, North America, has been selected to serve on the Federal Agencies and Procurement Advocacy (FAPA) Committee for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).
