We are pleased to announce that Norman Forde has joined Mott MacDonald as Facilities and Fleet Market Leader, based in our Tampa office. Norman brings over 30 years of domestic and international experience in transportation, and will be an invaluable member of our Rail and Transit Infrastructure Practice.
Norman comes to us from Amtrak, where he was vice president for fleet and facilities capital delivery, helping to deliver multibillion-dollar capital infrastructure projects. He was previously part of WSP USA and STV, where he worked with clients including the Federal Railroad Administration, MTA Maryland, Virginia Railway Express, Chicago Metra, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), and Tri-Valley San Joaquin Regional Rail Authority.
Norman earned a bachelor’s degree in management studies and a master’s degree in corporate planning and marketing from University College Cardiff, Wales. He is an executive member of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) High Speed and Intercity Passenger Rail Committee, a member of its National Committee, and a mentor for its Emerging Leaders Program. He is a life member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in England.
