We are navigating increasingly complex challenges of affordability, climate change and asset condition in the water market. This requires practical, and sustainable solutions, to deliver outcomes that make a lasting difference to our local communities.
With a career shaped by complex water infrastructure challenges, Hannah Edmond focuses on delivering resilient, future-ready solutions for communities. As technical director for water, she oversees programmes that strengthen wastewater and stormwater systems while responding to growth, climate pressures and operational risk. Based in Wellington, she also plays a key role in leading and growing our local multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, technical excellence and client-focused delivery.
A chartered civil engineer, Hannah combines project and design management expertise across multidisciplinary infrastructure, working from early feasibility through to delivery. Her experience spans major upgrade programmes, emergency response works and long-term panel frameworks, where she coordinates stakeholders, manages commercial performance and ensures technical quality.
She brings particular depth in carbon assessment within water infrastructure, contributing to industry guidance and advancing approaches to managing emissions. Recognised as Water New Zealand 2020 Young Professional of the Year, Hannah is also a committed STEM ambassador, supporting the next generation of engineers.
We are looking for enthusiastic, inspiring, and committed people to join our growing team.
