About the Business Unit   

Global Delivery Services Centre (GDSC) is a high-impact business unit within Mott MacDonald, dedicated to enhancing project delivery across our global operations.   

As part of GDSC, you’ll join a team that champions excellence in both technical and digital disciplines, supporting projects at every stage of the lifecycle—from concept to completion. We work to international design standards and regulations, ensuring our contributions meet the highest benchmarks of quality and innovation.

As part of GDSC in India, you will be working alongside Mott MacDonald international colleagues delivering ambitious projects across a broad range of building types includingcommercial, residential, retail and offices, education, healthcare, airports, data center, hotels, sports and events venues, and Metro & stations. Under this sector, our services span the whole asset cycle from advisory to consulting, through design and delivery, to asset management. With deep understanding of all phases of the building lifecycle, it enables us to give our clients the best-informed engineering and innovative solutions.   

Role

We are looking for a Engineer to manage projects for global markets.

Key Deliverables:

  • Responsible for planning and design of all Electrical part of building services elements and infrastructure networks.
  • Responsible for concept design based on evaluation for various options in coordination with architectural, structural input and in accordance with initial load estimates. Responsible for design calculations and quantity estimation.
  • Responsible for schematic and detailed design of the electrical system of building services elements.
  • Ensure all design work is carried out in accordance with Company’s quality standard procedures.

Key Capabilities: 

  • B.E /B. Tech in Electrical Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 4-8 years of experience as engineer preferably in building project design .
  • Extensive experience in Electrical building services design, with working knowledge in BS 7671.
  • Knowledge on HTM 06-01.
  • Understanding about medical risk grades and redundancies required.
  • Proficient in Electrical design software like Dialux Evo / Dialux 4.13, Earth Grid study and should have individually handled number of Amtech models individually.
  • Well versed in reviewing and checking of drawings and calculations.
  • Good knowledge of relevant international codes and regulations such as BS/BSEN/NFPA/Lighting Guides etc.
