This is an exciting opportunity to launch your engineering career while working alongside industry-leading professionals on projects that help deliver safe, reliable and sustainable water infrastructure for future generations.

 

About the Role

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering a wide range of water projects across New Zealand.

You will gain exposure to:

  • Water supply infrastructure
  • Wastewater networks and treatment facilities
  • Stormwater management and flood resilience projects
  • Hydraulic modelling and analysis
  • Civil design and engineering assessments
  • Construction support and site investigations
  • Digital engineering and innovative water solutions

You will collaborate with experienced engineers, planners, modellers and project managers while developing your technical, commercial and consulting capabilities.

About You

We're looking for people who are curious, collaborative and committed to engineering a better future.

To be successful, you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • Graduation completed by February 2027
  • A genuine interest in water infrastructure and the water sector
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
  • A passion for innovation, sustainability and digital tools
  • Full New Zealand working rights or eligibility to work in New Zealand
