Your Opportunity 

  • Participate in all stages of rail and highway project development, including planning, engineering design, technical specifications, and project coordination
  • Utilise computer modelling software and engineering tools for analysis and design. Demonstrated proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D for design coordination, modelling, and production of engineering drawings
  • Experience in engineering drawing production including the preparation, review, and coordination of design drawings, technical documentation and project deliverables to a high standard of quality and accuracy
  • Strong report writing skills with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and well-structured technical and management reports.
  • Experience in drainage design and analysis including stormwater and sewerage design.
  • Strong stakeholder and communication skills with experience liaising effectively with Clients, consultants, contractors, authorities and multi-disciplinary project teams to facilitate project delivery and resolve technical issues
  • Ensure adherence to relevant quality and safety standards, procedures and statutory requirements
  • Assist with project / work scheduling and management
  • Assist with the preparation of tender documentation
  • Assist with on-site inspections and commissioning witnessing (rolling stock)

 

Candidate Specifications

  • Assist with on-site inspections and commissioning witnessing (rolling stock)
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years experiences in highway/road design
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D or similar design software
  • Consultancy background
  • Highway/Transport Engineer with hands-on design experience.
  • Able to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
 

 

Your Next Challenge

  • Carry out design to meet the client and statutory requirements
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders and attend meetings as required
  • Provide technical expertise, sound advice and solutions that are appropriate
  • Assist in the delivery of multiple projects or part of larger projects from start to complete and to meet the clients expectation, cost and programme
  • Assist in inputs for project calculations plans, specifications and technical papers within time and budget parameters while satisfying client and contractual obligations
  • Offer support and guidance to other members of the team
