    • Ensure digital and technology designs align with national healthcare standards, organisational strategy and Target Operating Models
  • Intelligent Hospital Capabilities and Innovation
    • Support planning and delivery of intelligent hospital capabilities, including smart buildings, automation, digital wayfinding, remote monitoring and virtual care
    • Champion emerging technologies (e.g. AI, automation, analytics) where they add clinical, operational or patient value
    • Undertake horizon scanning and market engagement to develop option appraisals and costed recommendations
    • Ensure all solutions are designed to be secure, resilient, inclusive and operationally supportable
  • Programme Delivery and Business Case Support
    • Lead delivery of complex digital and infrastructure workstreams from early concept through to business-as-usual
    • Contribute to digital and infrastructure content for Outline and Full Business Cases, including costs, benefits, risks and dependencies
    • Manage risks, issues and interdependencies, contributing to programme risk registers and assurance processes
    • Apply structured project and design management aligned to RIBA Plan of Work Stages, working alongside capital project teams
  • Governance, Commercial and Financial Management
    • Support commercial and procurement strategies for infrastructure and technology, including supplier engagement and evaluation
    • Articulate capital and revenue costs, benefits and lifecycle considerations for digital infrastructure solutions
    • Ensure compliance with governance, financial controls and assurance requirements
