Mott MacDonald is a leading provider of engineering, advisory, program management, and technical consulting services supporting electric utilities and energy infrastructure clients throughout North America.
Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to provide technical leadership for civil and structural engineering services supporting transmission, substation, grid modernization, renewable integration for energy infrastructure projects.
This role will serve as a senior technical leader within our Energy practice, supporting project delivery, mentoring developing engineers, strengthening client relationships, and helping grow Mott MacDonald’s civil and structural engineering capability across Texas and the Southwest.
The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong project delivery and client-facing capabilities. They will be recognized as a trusted advisor to clients and a subject matter expert capable of leading teams through the execution of complex utility infrastructure projects.
Your Impact
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will provide the technical foundation for utility infrastructure projects that improve the grid. You will lead complex engineering assignments, mentor technical staff, support strategic pursuits, and help position Mott MacDonald as a trusted engineering advisor to utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, renewable developers, and industrial energy clients.

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
The expected salary for this position is $139,000 - $170,000.
