Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage day-to-day store operations, including receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of project materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updating of stock movements in the store management system.
  • Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with procurement, construction, QA/QC, and project teams to ensure timely availability of materials at site.
  • Monitor stock levels and proactively identify shortages, excess inventory, and material replenishment requirements.
  • Ensure proper storage, preservation, identification, and handling of materials in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and project procedures.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks, physical stock verification, and reconciliation of store records.
  • Prepare and maintain material receipt reports, stock registers, issue records, return records, and inventory status reports.
  • Monitor contractor-owned and client-supplied materials, ensuring effective control and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety, housekeeping, security, and material management procedures within the store area.

 

Essential Candidate Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline or Diploma in Engineering
  • Experience in storekeeping, warehouse management, inventory control, or material management for industrial, manufacturing, construction, or EPC/EPCM projects.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control, and material tracking processes.
  • Experience handling construction materials, mechanical equipment, electrical materials, piping components, consumables, and spare parts.
  • Knowledge of material receiving, inspection, preservation, storage, issuance, and reconciliation procedures.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory records, material registers, and project documentation.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills to effectively work with procurement, contractors, vendors, and project teams.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and material control.
