About the Division
The Water Utilities Division is Mott MacDonald’s centre of excellence for responding to the UK and Ireland's water and wastewater challenges. The work we do is at the forefront of ensuring safe water supplies for future generations, preventing urban flooding, and improving the health of our rivers and coastal environments. Our multi-disciplinary teams provide a variety of services throughout the full project life cycle, from advisory services and feasibility studies to outline and detailed design. Together, we deliver best-in-class solutions to our clients while offering diverse and technically stimulating opportunities to our people.
Overview of the role
We are looking for an experienced asset management professional who is passionate about helping the water sector deliver sustainable, resilient and customer-focused infrastructure investment plans. This is an opportunity to influence investment decisions, shape long-term asset strategies and help clients respond to some of the industry's most pressing challenges, including climate change, ageing infrastructure and environmental performance.
The Asset Management and Infrastructure Planning team is one of five sub-sectors within our Water Consultancy Division, which employs around 600 people across the UK. Our team works with water companies and infrastructure organisations across the UK and internationally, helping clients make better investment decisions, improve asset performance and deliver long-term value. Our work includes:

We welcome applications from professionals with a range of experiences and perspectives who are passionate about improving infrastructure outcomes, to join our team based in the UK. You will bring a strong commitment to asset management excellence and have experience leading projects and supporting clients in achieving their strategic objectives. Membership of the Institute of Asset Management is desirable.
We are seeking two Technical Associates/Principals, Asset Management, one within our Wastewater Strategy and Planning workstream and one within our Water Strategy and Planning workstream.
