Your Opportunity  

 

With continued success in the public transport and broader civil infrastructure market across QLD, we are looking to grow our presence on the south coast of Queensland and northern NSW region with the appointment of a strategic Transport Leader based on the Gold Coast. You will demonstrate strong and trusted client relationships in the region, supported by a track record in delivering transport projects for key clients such as TMR, TfNSW and Local Government.  

 

We are looking for someone enthusiastic and driven to be part of our South-East QLD Leadership team that can bring the best of Mott MacDonald globally to this important region with a focus on the next stage of evolution across urban mobility, public transport and infrastructure planning through delivery. The role will be based on the Gold Coast and supported by an existing team of engineers, planners and innovators located across southeast Queensland.  

 

This is an influential role allowing us to focus on an important region of QLD, where you will get to live local and engage globally, allowing you to: 

 

  • Lead and oversee a team that pursue and deliver key transport infrastructure projects in southeast Queensland and northern NSW; 

  • In collaboration with Client Directors, develop strategies that are aligned to market and national objectives to drive growth in the southeast Queensland and northern NSW transport market; 

  • Develop and maintain key client relationships; 

  • Enhance Mott MacDonald’s market presence in southeast Queensland and northern NSW; 

  • Working with the Queensland Transport Market Leader, develop strategies to grow the transport team in the Gold Coast; 

  • Demonstrate positive and visible leadership that aligns with Mott MacDonald’s PRIDE values; 

  • Work cross-discipline to drive optimisation and better building outcomes; 

  • Manage the performance and successful delivery of projects. 

 

About You  

 

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering), Transport Planning degree or similar 

  • RPEQ, Chartered or demonstrated equivalent credentials suitable for application  

  • Demonstrated technical experience in leading and delivering major transport projects in Queensland 

  • Experience with TMR and local government 

  • Ability to maintain and develop trusted client relationships 

  • Demonstrated leadership experience  

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, valuing diversity and promoting inclusion
