Mott MacDonald has appointed Peter Taylor as unit general manager, with Aimee Barwick assuming the role of deputy general manager for its New Zealand business.
Peter Taylor has over 25 years of experience in buildings and infrastructure projects, including 11 years for Mott MacDonald in New Zealand and three years in the consultancy’s London Office undertaking rail, tunnel and stadiums projects. Peter has been with Mott MacDonald since the opening of the New Zealand office and during that time he has led teams on the Canterbury Multi-Use Arena, the Terminal Development Plan for Auckland International Airport and Auckland City Rail Link. He has a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons).
Aimee Barwick has over 19 years’ experience in land use planning, transport and delivery of large-scale local government infrastructure and urban development projects. Aimee is a senior advisor to a number of government clients supporting project governance, development and delivery services and leads multidisciplinary technical teams in the delivery of infrastructure projects. Aimee is the Chair of our Asia Pacific, New Zealand and Australia Inclusive Networks for Women, which has been established to facilitate more support, collaboration and promotion of women within our business.
Peter will lead on Mott MacDonald’s strategic growth, in particular our continued growth in the transport & energy sectors and the Wellington region.
Aimee will lead in operational aspects of the New Zealand business with a focus on strategic growth and new initiatives
