Carbon reduction leadership
We will play our leadership role in advising clients to embrace low carbon solutions
We know reducing carbon also saves money and drives innovation. We authored the UK government’s Infrastructure Carbon Review (ICR), which concluded that pursuing a low-carbon agenda drives innovation. Our carbon reduction hierarchy ¬– build efficiently, clever, less and nothing – ensures that innovative thinking is applied to projects, at all stages. Selecting the right option is key to maximising savings and this is where our Carbon Portal tool plays a key role. We were the first major consultancy to be certified to PAS2080, the world’s first carbon management standard for infrastructure.Latest Carbon Crunch brozine
We will use the right technology and manage our information appropriately
“Digital by default” is fundamental to our long-term success and commercial sustainability. This means using the right technology to deliver better outcomes for our clients. Twice a year we survey a cross-section of staff (3000) based on grade, region and sector to assess digital maturity across the business. Scores are entered on a sliding scale of 0 to 50 and converted to scores from 0 to 5. See also digital nativeMore information...
